Why do I insist on being a resolved and unified person? My self is not a project.

Instead of knowing the “pillars of your identity”, what pillar could you just lean against right now?

What makes you feel most like yourself?

Can we lean into the parts of ourselves and places in us that feel secure?

Can we search for new and different ways to shape identity?

Can we end the sometimes destructive desire to align and reconcile all the pieces until they make our congruous image?

ABANDON THE IDEA THAT YOU ARE NOT WHOLE UNLESS YOU CAN DEFINE YOURSELF AS ONE THOROUGH AND TOTAL THING.

HOLD A PART OF YOU AT A TIME. KISS IT AND THANK IT!
