Fall 2007

Hi! My name is Casey MiSung Jong. I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I was born in San Francisco, California. My favorite food is anything chocolate and my favorite flavor of Ice Cream is probably coffe ice cream. I am half Korean, half Europian, but since I live in the USA I’m really sort of American. I have been to only two countries, one is Europe and the other is, of course, America. I enjoy movies, bike rides, and books, I have a mom, a da, and an almost fourteen year old brother. Oh yeah! I’m nine years old currently, turning ten in December. My favorite type of pie is pumpkin pie. My favorite movie is probably…hmmm…Oh! Well it’s probably Mary Poppins. My favorite color is orange. My favorite animal is either a monkey or a…Panda bear. I like to help people.

I have ten cousins and two real uncles and two real aunts. I attend Burns Park Elementary and am in fifth grade. For halloween I’m going to be an Oompa-Loompa, like in Charlie and the chocolate favorite. I hate raisins and I like oatmeal…chocolate chip cookies!! I skipped kindergarten and my teacher right now is Mr. Cramer. He is fun, nice, not too strict, AND he lets us chew gum in class! I like to go shopping but I’m not obsessed with it. My favorite game to play is probably either LIFE or CLUE…oh, or maybe chess. I can do the bridge style of shuffling cards.

My first grade teacher was Mrs. Chappuis, my second grade teacher was Mrs. Kim, my third grade teacher was Mrs. Speigel, and my fourth grade teacher was Mrs. Wall. Mr. Cramer is my first male (as my mom calls it) teacher. He is even teaching the GIRLS health science/sex education! Eeewww! My mom is starting to work at the hospis, and my dad works at key bank. My brother is a freshman in high school and for middle school he went to Greenhills, where I plan to go next year. I celebrate Christmas. I have a hamster and hope to get a beagle when he dies. I am allergic to dust, cats, and dogs that shed a lot, so if we get one is has to be hypoallergenic.
